Freeway Chevrolet to be grand sponsor for the 32nd Annual Kiwanis Ahwatukee Easter Parade and Spring Fling

Freeway Chevrolet, located at the I-10 and Ray Road has agreed to be this year’s designated Grand Sponsor for the 32nd Annual Kiwanis Ahwatukee Easter Parade & Spring Fling scheduled for Saturday, March 22, 2008. Mike Cook, Ahwatukee resident and General Manager of Freeway Chevrolet, is happy to assist Kiwanis in their effort to fund youth related projects in the Ahwatukee community.

Last year over 8,000 spectators attended the parade and Spring Fling with over $7,000 raised to benefit the children of the community. Beginning at 10:00 a.m., the parade forms at 48th Street and Warner Road and progresses north about 1 mile along 48th Street to Cheyenne Drive.

After the parade, all are invited to the Spring Fling at Ahwatukee Community Center Park, 48th Street and Warner Road. Enjoy entertainment by local groups, carnival rides, games, food, beverages, and games for the full family from about 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
